WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has urged lawmakers who cancelled the event after the assassination of Charlie Kirk to “move ahead” but closely monitor security risks.

In an interview on Fox and Friends on September 12, he pointed to his life attempts in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, describing politics as “dangerous business.”

“You just have to move forward,” he said.

Members of the left and right councillors, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of D-New York and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Mace of R-South Carolina, have changed schedules and changed their approach to security in the days since Kirk’s murder. According to the Daily Beast, Mace told reporters “we don’t have an outdoor event anytime soon.”

“I’m worried about counterfeit products,” she said.
