Trump, Vance and Biden respond to Charlie Kirk’s death
Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed at a Utah Valley University event. Donald Trump and Joe Biden responded to the news.

The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., said Charlie Kirk, the leader of the murdered conservative youth, is more than just a friend. He thought he was family.
“He was like my brother to me and to millions of people around the world — he was a real inspiration,” Trump Jr. said in a long, heartfelt X-Post hours after Turning Point co-founder was fatally shot at an on-campus event in Utah on September 10th.
In a social media post, Trump Jr. praised Kirk, 31, for “reaching the masses” the impact he had on young people. Trump Jr. said Kirk gave those young voters the courage to stand up and think about themselves. Trump Jr. said Kirk’s voice was “imprecise” to help them fight for freedom.

Trump Jr. reiterated the sentiment of his father, President Donald Trump.
“Even the great and legendary, Charlie Kirk is dead,” the president said in a post on True Society. “I didn’t understand or have the center of the youth of the United States better than Charlie.”
Trump Jr.: It was incredibly effective that only “threat” posed
Despite the occasional controversial rhetoric, Trump Jr. wrote that Kirk is by no means a threat to anyone. He described Kirk’s beloved husband, father, leader and fighter, whose character and beliefs are rare. “A civic and kind person,” Trump Jr. said of Kirk, the person he listened and responded with respect.
“The only ‘threat’ he ever raised was that he was very effective,” Trump Jr. said. “He was a powerful messenger of truth, and people heard the truth. That’s what targeted him.”
Trump Jr. said Kirk’s life was shortened by “brutally, heinous, evil, and evil deeds beyond understanding.” He called it horrifying and heartbreaking.
Trump Jr. said Kirk’s death was an unimaginable loss for those who loved him and the nation. He added that Kirk’s legacy would not end with his death, and activists said that millions of young people were poured into moving forward with the torch he lit up.
Trump Jr. vowed that he would “continue to tell the truth without fear,” and that he would continue Kirk’s spirit of courage.
“Look at peace, brothers,” Trump Jr. said. “You will be overlooked more than the words can say, but your legacy will never be forgotten and we will continue to fight a good fight.”
