Jason Bateman makes the festival season a family affair.
The “Arrested Development” star, 56, went out to a rare co-appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival or TIFF with her two daughters, Francesca (18), and 13-year-old Maple (13).
The Bateman children he shares with his wife Amanda Anka were there to celebrate the premiere of his latest project, “The Black Rabbit.” The whole family chose to wear modest clothing. Bateman layered a chocolate brown button-down shirt over a black T-shirt, pairing a chic black vest and slip skirt.
Maple and Francesca chose their own dresses, the former wearing semi-shouldering black numbers, and the latter chose a silky brown slip dress that suited her father’s color palette.
The dramatic miniseries “Black Rabbit,” set to hit Netflix on September 18, watches the troubled brother and Bateman of a New York City restaurant owner, played by Jude Law. Bateman character Vince Friedken fights gambling addiction in the trailer of the crime thriller to celebrate Law’s Jake Friedken celebrates the success of his talked-about facility.
Having remained a relative mother about his personal life, Bateman gushed about his family in 2019 after winning the best actor in the Drama Series Awards at this year’s SAG Awards.
“I would like to say specifically to my wife, my two daughters, Amanda, Franny and Maple. “I love you more than I would do to you, and don’t sleep because I’m going home to kiss you.
