Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released a copy of their birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein, who is in charge of signing President Donald Trump.

The letter, posted on social media on September 8th, shows what Trump’s message was supposed to be to Epstein, a woman’s signature mimicking embarrassment.

First reported by the Wall Street Journal in July, the letter ends with the message “People are amazing – Happy birthday, it could become another great secret every day.” According to the journal, it was included in other notes written for Epstein in a 2003 book edited for her birthday in 2003.

“We received Trump’s birthday memo to Jeffrey Epstein saying that there were no Democrats on the Board of Supervisory Board posted on social media on September 8th.

Trump called the letter “fake” in a previous social media post, calling the Wall Street Journal story “false, malicious, and honorable.” The president filed a lawsuit seeking $10 billion in damages claiming honor and slander against the Wall Street Journal, its parent company, its owner and two reporters.

White House spokesman Karoline Leavitt said in a social media post on September 8 that the lawsuit would continue, alleging that Trump did not paint or sign the picture.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budwich posted on social media on September 8 that parent copies of the journal would need to “open that check.”

“That’s not his signature. A honour and loss!” Budowich wrote in the post. This includes examples of Trump’s signature.

Trump was once Epstein’s best friend and died in 2019 after committing suicide in prison while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, and his administration has received intense criticism for processing records related to the case.

After members of Trump’s Orbital members were concerned about who was involved in Epstein’s allegations of crime, the Justice Department tried to close speculation in a July 7 memo that showed that the “systematic review” of the document did not reveal a “client list.”

The memo sparked the rage that lies within Trump’s Magazine Base.

Trump condemned, focusing on Epstein and denounced his own supporters who called the issue a “hoax.” However, his administration began to retreat amid criticism, calling for the release of several major ju judge records. Lawmakers are seeking more complete disclosure of records.

After the August break there was a bipartisan push that was updated by lawmakers to win more Epstein’s records. The House Oversight Committee issued a subpoena to the Epstein Records on August 5th, beginning to publish some of the records from September 2nd.

Epstein’s victims met at Capitol Hill last week to promote more record releases and spoke to lawmakers on the oversight committee. One lawmaker left the meeting in tears.

The role of Ghislaine Maxwell in the Epstein Birthday Book

Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell said in a July 24 interview with Associate Attorney General Todd Blanche that he has sentenced Epstein to 20 years in prison for his role in the crime, but could not recall Trump submitting anything to Epstein’s birthday book.

A two-day interview with Trump’s former personal defense lawyer, Blanche, attracted criticism as the Justice Department has accused Maxwell of protecting himself in the past, defending one of her ex-boyfriend and long-time associates.

Blanche asked Maxwell about media coverage of “a birthday book that was assembled for Mr. Epstein” on his 50th birthday in 2003.

She replied to Epstein that her mother did one for her father’s 60th birthday and that Epstein loved the idea and asked her to “help me adjust it.”

However, when Blanche asked if he remembers the names of the people who sent Maxwell’s letters, Maxwell replied that she did not. “It’s so long, I want to tell you, but I don’t remember,” she said.

Maxwell, who asked the Supreme Court to overturn her conviction, said he remembered nothing about the letter from Trump, including when Blanche asked if he had seen “a photo of a naked woman or a photo like that.”

“I won’t,” she replied. “But just – no, I don’t.”
