2025 MTV VMA is becoming a music “Mayhem” night.

Pop Icon Lady Gaga has led nominations in 12, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Best Album. Bruno Mars has been closely behind with 11 nominations, all from his collaboration with Gaga with “Smile With a Smile” and “Apt” rosé.

Taylor Swift and Beyoncé each received one nomination, but if either of them wins Artist of the Year, they will become the new VMA’s most winning artists.

So who wins the moon trophy in the 19 sexually neutral categories in the VMA? This year’s ceremony will air live performances from UBS Arena in New York at 8pm EST on MTV and CBS. VMAs can also stream on Paramount+ on the same day for US audiences using Premium Plan subscriptions.
