“Jurassic World Replay”: D. Rex tortures Scarlett Johansson
DINOSAURS OLD AND NEW – Including Debut D. Rex – Romp and Stomp from “Jurassic World Rebirth,” starring Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey.
Back in the Hollywood blockbuster, Jonathan Bailey is ready to press pause in acting.
In a UK GQ interview published on September 3, the Bridgerton star said he plans to take a break from acting next year following the release of Wicked: For Good. Instead of taking on bigger roles like paleontologists Dr. Henry Loomis and Prince Fiero, Bailey will focus on his LBGTQ+ charity group known as the Shameless Fund.
“I’ve been working hard for about three years and it’s been amazing, but now it’s all going on, so next year I’ll just stop acting a little and focus on the shameless fund,” he says. “Over the next few months, I will focus on staffing and make sure I get all the right people in all the right places.”
When the sequel to “Wicked,” which will be released in theaters this November, his face will return to the big screen alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Eribo, so fans don’t have to worry.
Bailey’s release won over $855 million worldwide after the release of Jurassic World Revival in July, and last November’s Wicked won over $755 million worldwide, landing 10 Oscar nominations.
He is also busy with television roles, including 2023 “Female Traveler” and Congress staff member Tim Laughlin.
But in the looming 2026, Bailey will focus on supporting LGBTQ+ people in the UK through a charity he founded last year.
What is the Shameless Fund?
The Shameless Fund, founded by Jonathan Bailey, is dedicated to raising and protecting queer people by leveraging the power of celebrities.
“A few years ago I wondered what I could do as an actor. There are a lot of great people on the frontline. They are real heroes who work for organizations, charities and initiatives,” Bailey told Vogue last year. “How can you raise money without asking people to actually donate and sponsor them?
In an interview with GQ, Bailey said that charities aim to be fun and creative, while also finding solutions to better support the LGBTQ+ community.
