Make the most of Costco executive members’ time

Costco’s long hours for executive members will be enforced at all stores following Labor Day weekend.

The retail warehouse giant told members in an email on June 11 that the location would be an hour earlier than the rest, and that the location would open exclusively for higher-level members.

Business Outlet TheStreet reported that stores had been given a grace period to implement changes that would end on August 31st. USAUSATToday contacted Costco on August 31st to confirm the end of the bounty period and did not receive immediate response.

The company also said in an email on June 11 that the warehouse will be open for extra hours on Saturdays for all members and will close at 7pm on July 5th.

Shopping times for new Costco executive members are as follows:

Costco’s Early Executive Membership Shopping Time

  • Monday to Friday: 9am to 10am
  • Saturday: 9:30am
  • Sunday: 9am to 10am

No, Costco will be closed on Labor Day and will fall on Monday, September 1st.

Benefits of Costco Executive Membership

Costco executive members have already received the benefits of Gold Star membership, including warehouse access, Costco fuel access and free household cards.

Executive members also receive a 2% annual compensation for eligible purchases and receive a discount on Costco services.

Costco said in an email in June that executive members will receive $10 per month credits for $150 orders through the company’s “same-day” service or Instacart.
