One bidder paid $90,000 for a “fast and furious” replica car
Fast & Furious is known for its flashy modified cars. The film’s franchise has millions of fans around the world, making the vehicles featured in the film highly desirable for car enthusiasts. What if you could own a car from the original The Fast and the Furious Film? Kraft Auctions have fought for the Bidders’ next best. Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), a replica of the 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse, drove in the film. This is one of the vehicles that paved the way for the franchise.
Mitsubishi Eclipse replicas feature all the cosmetics of the movie, including body kits, rear wings, carbon fiber hoods and more. The replica also includes all Eclipse hood pins, decals and racing bucket seats. It will run, but according to the list, “a new fuel line must be installed to become operational.”
The auction featured a total of 463 items, consisting of movie cars, screen memorabilia and more. Mitsubishi cuisine replicas are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to some of the wildest items listed for auction. The screen-used 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, powered by Vin Diesel character Dominictret, sold for $90,000. With 25 bids, it has become one of the most desirable movie cars in the entire auction.
What movies and TV cars featured at the auction?
There are too many cars and cars from movies that have hit TV shows on the list, but there are some outstanding models. These models played roles in the enormous franchises and shows that have become staples of pop culture for different generations.
Movie and TV cars featured at auction
