The attacker at a Catholic school shot in Minnesota killed two children and injured 18 people, arrived violently armed with an AR-15-style rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun and a 9mm pistol.

Among police found at an Announcement Church in Minneapolis, there was ammunition, a 2×4 wooden board, something that appeared to have smoke cans stuck on it, and a magazine bag around the suspect’s body. This entry is detailed in a search warrant affidavit filed by Minneapolis Police in Hennepin County District Court.

Police found suspected shooter Robin Westman, 23, dead in the back of the church from a clear self-harm gunshot wound. According to a police affidavit, the 23-year-old wore a mask and black “tactical” gear. Records show that two deceased children – 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel and 10-year-old Harper Moiskey, were found in Pugh.

According to Minneapolis police records, Westman went to church in a grey Ram Promaster City Utility van with Minnesota plates. According to a police affidavit, the vehicle belonged to the suspect’s father.

A revelation about what police found at the scene came just days after the attack on August 27th, causing 15 other children and three parishioners to be injured in the ’80s. School is for grades from grades to 8th grade.

Here’s what the new file revealed:

Police interview family members

The attack prompted the police to interview the suspect’s father.

Westman’s father told police that suspected gunmen were staying at an address outside the city in Litchfield, Minnesota. Westman had moved in with a friend from St. Louis Park after the breakup, according to a police affidavit.

The suspect’s father told police that his child had previously attended Announcement Church and school. The suspect’s father told police that Westman’s mother had somehow worked at the church and school.

What a record of the scene shows

Within the church, police found “blood and other biological evidence in multiple areas of the church” that contained blood stains on carpets and feet, the police affidavit says. Outside the church, police found two discarded, bloody green shirts.

According to stock, police collected dozens of blood samples to be processed as part of an investigation into the attack.

What else is the police looking for?

The search warrant indicates that investigators expect to find additional evidence at addresses related to the suspected shooter.

Among the items police expect to discover, weapons, including firearms, explosives, ammunition and financial records are financial records that show how Westman acquired the weapon, according to the search warrant.

Investigators also hope to reveal the motivation for the shooting. Other items that police expected to collect from Westman’s residence were mobile phones, laptops, memory cards and written documents containing manifesto and “notes referring to plans, motivations, targets, ideology or complaints.”
