WASHINGTON – Former national security adviser John Bolton has returned to criticizing President Donald Trump following his FBI search of his home and office last week.

Bolton made his first statement since the FBI searched, referring to an FBI investigation that he had undergone an August 25 operation at Washington examiner and reopened that a former Trump aide criticized Trump’s foreign policy on Ukraine.

“Donald Trump’s Ukrainian policy today is less consistent than last Friday when his administration executed a search warrant against my home and office,” Bolton wrote, repeating the same line in PostX.

The focus of the FBI’s August 22 search targeting Bolton was not clear, but Vice President JD Vance said it contained “classified documents.” Democrats have condemned Bolton’s Justice Department investigation as a politically motivated attack on Trump’s enemy.

During TURMP’s first term, the Department of Justice launched a criminal investigation and filed a federal lawsuit attempting to block the publication of Bolton’s book, The Room Where Where: A White House Memoir.

Bolton, who served as the United Nations US ambassador, has been a regular Trump critic since serving him in his first term. Trump has previously cancelled Bolton’s security clearance and security details despite his plans to assassinate Iran.

“I’m not a John Bolton fan,” Trump told reporters last week. The FBI conducted a search for Bolton’s Bethesda, Maryland home and its Washington, DC office. “He’s a real low-life creature.”
