Date:

More than dozens of Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks at a hospital in southern Gaza, according to the Nasser Medical Complex, which includes journalists from multiple outlets.

The hospital said at least 14 people were killed and many more were injured in Monday’s attack, including many journalists.

The journalists killed were Mohammad Salama, a photographer from Al Jazeera, a Reuters contractor, and Mariam Abu Daga, who worked with the Associated Press and other outlets throughout the war. Freelance journalist Mores Abu Taha was also killed on the strike, the hospital added.

Gaza’s civil defense agency said one of its crew was also killed in the attack.

The first strike at the hospital hit the fourth floor of the Nasser Medical Complex on Monday morning, Palestinian Health Ministry said the second attack followed, which later collided with ambulance crews and emergency responders.

CNN contacted the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) for comment.

In the video of the scene, Dr. Mohammad Saqer, a hospital spokesman and nurse director, lifts a bloody cloth after the first strike as another explosion rocks the building, filling the air with smoke and running through the runners.

Live cameras from Al Ghad TV show paramedics on damaged stairs in the hospital when the second attack hit the building.
