Donut lovers are about to be fascinated.
Krispy Kreme announced a new doughnut collection on Thursday, August 14th, inspired by the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry featured in the “Harry Potter” franchise.
The collection, known as Harry Potter House from the Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme collection, will be available for a limited time from Monday, August 18th. The collection includes four “there are seductive donuts and the four Hogwarts homes bring to life through delicious flavors.”
- Gryffindor Donut: Glassless shell donut filled with cookie butter flavored cream, soaked with red icing and biscoffee cookie crest, topped with golden icing drizzle and Gryffindor crest.
- Slytherin Donut: An original glass-covered donut topped with chocolate and green buttercream-flavored swirls, chocolate cookie sugar blend and Slytherin emblem.
- Hafrupuff Donut: Glassless shell donut filled with brown butter toffee flavored custard, soaked in golden yellow icing and topped with black chocolate drizzle, cookie crunch and hufflepuff tops.
- Ravenclaw Donut: The original glass-enclosed donut, dipped in blueberry-flavored icing, is topped with Ravencrou sprinkles and coat of arms.
Sorted hat donuts are sold separately
Additionally, Krispy Kreme also offers sorted hat donuts sold individually in limited edition specialty boxes, but supply will be the last. Sorting Hat Donuts are donuts with mystery-colored cream representing one of the four Hogwarts homes, dipped in chocolate-flavored icing, sprinkled with sparkling gold stars and gold sugar, and topped with sorted hat pieces.
The Donut Collection will be available for pick-up or delivery via the Krispy Kreme app and website, individually and in dozens of custom designed boxes, and via the Krispy Kreme app and website. Customers can also obtain collections in Krispy Kreme 6 Packs delivered to select retailers.
“We channel our collection for Harry Potter’s beloved magic and Hogwarts home that truly captivates,” Alison Holder, Chief Brand and Product Head of Krispy Kreme, said in a news release. “But magic is fleeting and so are these donuts, so don’t miss the chance to give it a try!”
Harry Potter fans will win a free donut at Krispy Kreme on August 23rd
In addition to the donut collection, Krispy Kreme offers Harry Potter fans the chance to win free donuts.
On Saturday, August 23rd, you’ll be offering free original glaze donuts to fans in charge of their favorite Hogwarts House by joining Krispy Kreme Shops nationwide.
Also, starting September 1st, Krispy Kreme will give fans the chance to win a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood or Universal Orlando Resort, experiencing the magic of Harry Potter’s magical world.
