Grocery store chain Wegmans recalls medium Camembert soft-aged cheese and products containing it due to the potential contamination of Listeria, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in a notice.
In an FDA alert posted Wednesday, August 13, Wegmans said items affected by the recall were sold at stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Virginia and Washington, Washington between July 1 and August 12.
The company said the cheese was supplied to the store by Estancia Holdings in Cumming, Georgia. So far, no illnesses have been reported in connection with cheese recalls, according to the alert.
