The FDA redefines foods that can be labeled “healthy”
Foods need to contain certain ingredients and limit certain restrictions to sell sugar, saturated fats and sodium as “healthy.”

According to a notification posted on the Food and Drug Administration website, hundreds of sugar cookies sold at Target have been recalled due to potential contamination by “foreign ingredients.”
According to the FDA, the voluntary recall of your favorite day bakery frost sugar cookie was published on July 22nd by Canada’s Give and Go Prepert Foods Corp. My favourite day is a private label brand sold at Target.
In total, 803 cases have been recalled due to potential foreign pollution.
Cookies that could potentially contain wood were distributed in 20 different states and in Washington, the notification says.
Recall is classified as a Class II recall, according to the FDA.
No press release was issued due to the recall, but as of Sunday, August 10th, the recall is currently underway.
Target did not immediately respond to a request for comment from USA Today on August 10th.

Cookies are part of lot 25195 and UPC number 85239-41250 3. Cookie packs are best for each date, as cookie packs are determined when retailers remove cookies from the freezer.
