  • Donald Trump criticized Taylor Swift as being true social and insisted that he “is no longer hot” because he expressed his dislike of her.
  • Trump said he hated the mega-pop star a few days after he supported his opponent, Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
  • Trump’s criticism of Swift was part of a massive post that also commented on Sidney Sweeney, Jaguar and Bud Wright.

President Donald Trump has revived criticism of Taylor Swift, one of the world’s biggest pop stars.

Trump posted on True Social in support of Sydney Sweeney on August 4th. Sidney Sweeney was at the heart of the debate over her American Eagle advertising campaign. The ad features Sweeney in all denim, and she plays the word “jeans” and “genes.”

During the discussion about the ads, Sweeney surfaced as a registered Republican in Florida, and when he spoke to reporters on August 3rd, Trump was quickly by her side.

In subsequent twisting posts about American Eagle ads, Jaguar ads and Budlight boycotts, he set his sights on Swift.

“Look at the awakened singer Taylor Swift,” the post read. “Since she warned the world about the truth that she couldn’t stand her (hate!). She left the Super Bowl and it wasn’t getting hot anymore. The tide turned seriously.

USA Today contacted a representative for Swift.

Taylor Swift supported Kamala Harris in the 2024 election

Swift supported the Democratic candidate after a presidential debate between former vice president Kamala Harris and Trump. Harris has received a historically short campaign after intervening with former President Joe Biden after a disastrous discussion with Trump at the beginning of the summer.

“(Harris) fights for rights and causes. I believe we need warriors to defend them,” Swift told the post. “She is a stable and talented leader and I think we are calm, not confused, and we can achieve more in this country.”

A few days later, Trump worked on a true society to declare, “I hate Taylor Swift,” but his campaign relied on conflict by selling t-shirts with designs similar to those of Taylor Swift Elas Tour products, only playing the face of Trump.

Trump also insisted in May that “she’s not hot anymore.”

Trump threatens legal action against Harris’ celebrity support

Trump said he hopes for a big survey of former Vice President Kamala Harris’ celebrity support in the 2024 presidential election.

On May 19, Trump questioned whether Harris paid Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé and Oprah.

“It was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowd,” Trump said in The Society of Truth. “It’s not legal! For these unpatriotic “celebrities,” “it was a corrupt and illegal way to take advantage of a broken system.”

He didn’t mention Swift, but he said “probably many others” and left the charges open-ended in another post.

However, the Federal Election Commission does not expressly prohibit approvals paid, so the claim is made without evidence.
