How to save money on Amazon, Wayfair, Best Buy and more
What do major retailers do with returned items? Sometimes they sell it to you with a huge discount. Here’s how to find a transaction:
The problem has been resolved
IKEA in Best Buy? It’s happening, sort of.
The popular Swedish furniture store is working with the electronics giant to plan kitchen and laundry plans to select the best buy shops across the country.
Starting in the fall, customers shop at 10 Best Buy stores, allowing them to “plan inspiration, support and purchase unprecedented laundry and laundry rooms.”
The partnership, which marks the first ever cross-brand retail experience for IKEA US, aims to “make Best Buy Appliances easy integration into IKEA kitchens and home laundry areas.”
Here’s what you need to know about IKEA and Best Buy Mashup:
Why do IKEA and Best Buy forcefully join?
According to IKEA US CEO Rob Olson, the partnership creates what he calls “a one-stop destination where customers can easily design their dream kitchen, storage solution or laundry space.”
The new in-store collaboration between retailers was first launched in 10 stores in Florida and Texas, with a 1,000-square-foot IKEA footprint “introducing an inspirational kitchen and laundry room setting,” according to the release.
At these stores, customers can plan and order home furniture products with the support of IKEA workers, and receive electronics advice from Best Buy employees.
Where are the Best Buy and IKEA pilots located?
Here are the 10 best buy stores with IKEA shop-in-stores later this year:
- Boynton Beach, Florida
- Daytona Beach, Florida
- Lakeland, Florida
- Melbourne, Florida
- Waterford Lakes, Florida
- Alamo Ranch, Texas
- Texas Caves
- The humble Texas
- Mesquite, Texas
- South Austin, Texas
Additionally, two stores, Lakeland, Florida and Alamo Ranch, Texas, will serve as pick-up points for IKEA shoppers. Customers in these markets can pick up most IKEA US products for free from these Best Buy Stores, whether they have purchased a new IKEA at Best Buy Design Experience or IKEA.com.
