Justin Timberlake DWI: New plea deal reported
Reports say Justin Timberlake is set to enter a new petition in his controversial DWI case in the Hamptons during trial hearing Friday.
Justin Timberlake is open to “debilitating” medical issues.
The 44 singers revealed he was “battling some health issues” and were diagnosed with Lyme disease.
“If you know someone who is experiencing or has this disease, you know – you know: Living with this can be mercilessly debilitating, both mentally and physically,” he wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday, July 31st.
Timberlake’s diagnosis led him to consider whether to stop the tour, but he said “I decided that the joy of far exceeding the fleeting stress my body feels will bring me.” He added: “I’m so glad that I’ve continued.”
The Grammy Award winners looked back at the end of his forgotten tomorrow’s world tour, which began in 2024, and shared the revelation. He described the tour as “the most fun, emotional, satisfying, physically tough, and sometimes harsh experiences.”
In his post, Timberlake also wrote that he was “a rather private person” and “reluctant to talk about his health issues about “his health issues.” However, he said, “I’m trying to be more transparent about my struggle so that they don’t get misunderstood,” and “I want to do my part in helping others who are experiencing this disease.”
Timberlake recently faced a backlash on social media. Because some fans claimed he was offering sub-performances on stage.
“I can’t stop feeling!” The singer had previously cancelled or postponed several concerts on the tour due to health reasons. In February he said he was going to scrap the show in Columbus, Ohio, and is planning to start, fighting the flu. “Everyone. I’m heartbroken,” he said at the time. Timberlake also postponed a series of concerts in October, explaining, “I didn’t feel good for the last few shows, so it turned out I had bronchitis and laryngitis.”
What is Lyme Disease?
Lyme disease is a “disease caused by borrelia bacteria” that humans usually get from mites bites, according to Mayo Clinic.
“Untreated Lyme disease can cause a wide range of symptoms depending on the stage of the infection,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said. “These include fever, rashes, facial paralysis, irregular heartbeats and arthritis.”
Other celebrities previously opened about the fight against Lyme disease include Justin Bieber and Amy Schumer. In 2020, Schumer asked his followers on Instagram. “Will everyone get lime this summer?
Avril Lavigne also revealed to People Magazine in 2015 that she was “bedridden for five months” while fighting Lyme disease. “I felt like I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t move,” she said at the time. “I thought I was dying,” the singer continued, “I was barely able to stand, so I definitely couldn’t take a shower for a week.
