President Donald Trump visited his golf course. And he was not alone. Some members of his famous family lended their support.
There is also a viral video claiming he cheated on a golf game with an assist from a caddy.
Recently, Eric Trump, the son of Donald Trump and vice president of the Trump organization, announced his key pet project, Trump Scotland.
The company already owns a golf course there: Trump Turnberry. The new course, Trump International Scotland near Aberdeen, will officially open on August 13th. Donald Trump and his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. attended the family’s latest 18-hole golf course ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 29th.
“It was a lifelong honor to build a Trump Aberdeen masterpiece, a new course (Great North Sea Link),” Eric Trump called in an Instagram post “the best 36 holes on the planet.”
A few days ago, Eric Trump played golf with his father at Trump Turnberry. Videos of Donald Trump, who appears to be cheating on a Scotland golf course over the weekend, have circulated.
On July 27th, Patriottakes posted a video to X. There, the president stops the golf cart roughly before a trap of sand. His caddy walking in front of him appears to drop a golf ball into the grass beside him.
Trump approaches the ball, but the video is blocked before Trump hits it. USA Today could not immediately confirm the time or origin of the video, and there is no context or video showing where Trump actually hit a previous shot. The post by Patriottakes had 5 million viewers as of July 29th.
Donald Trump’s visit to this golf course with family members indicates another appearance in sports-related “events.” This was just a ribbon cut for the latest courses of the Trump National Golf and the Trump International Golf Family, but it was a significant public event.
Earlier this month, the president’s appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup final was another major sporting event since his second term began.
However, not all Trump family members have reached the VIP box of the FIFA Club World Cup, and not all have reached the ribbon cuts of Scotland’s Trump Turnberry or Trump Aberdeen. Below is a list of Trump’s families who attended (and did not) “Trump Scotland.”
