USA Today Taste Tests McDonald’s Snack Laps
USA Today reporters and producers should return to the menu for the first time since 2016 and try out McDonald’s snack wraps.
McDonald’s new daily double cheeseburger is part of the chain’s popular McValue Meal Deal option.
The fast food giant added a double to its menu every day in late June. A sandwich made with two beef pate, slices of American cheese and shredded lettuce, slivered onions, mayonnaise and two tomato slices were previously only available in limited markets such as Chicago, Miami and Seattle. McDonald’s says the sandwiches will be on the national menu until 2025.
Starting Tuesday, July 22nd, you can make centrepieces for your daily McValue Meal contract ($6 or $7, the price depends on the restaurant) with four-piece chicken mcnuggets, small fries, and small soft drinks.
If you like a double cheeseburger, McDonald’s also has a McDouble with a traditional double cheeseburger, double quarter pounder with cheese, double bacon quarter pounder with cheese, pickles, diced onions, ketchup, mustard – lettuce, tomatoes and mayo – and can also be ordered as a bacon matsbull.
McDonald’s McValue Meal Deal options now include daily doubles
Starting July 22nd, you will be able to get a daily double cheeseburger as part of McValue’s meal agreement (prices as $6 or $7, depending on the market). In addition to the daily double, the meal comes with a 4-piece order of chicken mc nuggets, a small order of fries and a small drink.
McDonald’s McValue Meal deals will remain on McDonald’s menu until at least the end of 2025. Additionally, McValue’s diet options include a $5 meal agreement.

McDonald’s snack wrap is back
Of course, the other big news recently at McDonald’s was the return of Snack Wrap on July 10th. The menu items, phased out nationwide in 2016, are brought home and served as McDonald’s new MacCrispy strips, topped with finely made lettuce and shredded cheese and wrapped in soft flour tortillas.
Snack wraps, served in either “spicy” or “farm” flavors, can be ordered as a combo meal ($8.99) that includes two snack wraps, medium-order fries and a drink of choice.
