  • The Wall Street Journal reported on a letter Donald Trump allegedly wrote to Jeffrey Epstein for Epstein’s 50th birthday.
  • Trump denied writing the letter, calling the report “fake, malicious, honourable” and threatened to sue the WSJ.
  • As reported by the WSJ, the letter includes a hand-drawn naked woman and a fictional conversation between Trump and Epstein.

A Wall Street Journal report on President Donald Trump’s birthday letter to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein urged Trump to threaten the newspaper to sue him.

The Journal reported on July 17 that Gislain Maxwell had a leather album made for Epstein’s 50th birthday before his first arrest. The book was to be filled with letters from Epstein’s friends, but the journal discovered that Trump was one of them.

Trump said the letter was “fake” in a true social post, calling the story “false, malicious, and honourable” and threatened to sue the journal.

The report is as the Trump administration faces pressure from both Republicans and Democrats to release more documents on Epstein’s criminal case. Trump previously accused the Biden administration of hiding Epstein’s client list. The Justice Department teased that more files will come out, but on July 7 Attorney General Pam Bondy said there is no client list and no further disclosure is required.

After speaking with the journal, Trump said he would direct Bondi to publish more documents.

What did you say about Trump’s birthday card to Epstein?

The Wall Street Journal reported that the letter with Trump’s name contained an outline of a hand-drawn naked woman explaining the apparently imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein. According to the journal, here is what it said:

“Voiceover: You have to do more in life than you have everything,” the memo began.

Donald: Yes, there is, but I don’t know what it is.

Jeffrey: Because I am too. Because I know what it is.

Donald: Jeffrey has something in common.

Jeffrey: Yes, we do, think about it.

Donald: Enigma never ages, did you notice it?

Jeffrey: The truth is, when I last saw you it was clear to me.

Donald: The peers are amazing. Happy birthday – and every day may be another great secret.

Trump again denied the letter in a later truth social post.

“These aren’t my words, they’re not the way I speak, and I don’t draw,” he said of the true society.

Trump threatens legal action against the WSJ

The Journal also spoke for Trump and his story, and he denied writing. He also told the outlet that if the journal publishes the story, it would prepare a lawsuit.

According to the article, he said.

According to Reuters, Trump sued several prominent news outlets, including the USA Today Network’s Des Moines Register, ABC News and CBS.

Is Donald Trump in the Epstein Files?

Trump has already appeared in Epstein’s crime legal documents, but it’s not a way to imply him.

In the 1990s, Trump rode an aircraft owned by Epstein, according to flight logs released in two lawsuits. But that was over 30 years ago.

Palm Beach County State Attorney’s documents featured images of message pad communications seized during a Palm Beach police search, but it is just Trump’s name and phone number.

When was Epstein caught and first charged?

The Epstein police investigation began in March 2005 after a woman from the Palm Beach area in Florida said her 14-year-old stepdaughter was abused by a wealthy man.

In July 2006, Epstein was charged by a high ju trial on felony charges of seeking prostitution that did not address the age of the 14-year-old victim. He was arrested and spent one night at the Palm Beach County Jail, and the next day he was released on a $3,000 bond.

Epstein has signed a non-access agreement called “Trades of the Century.” He pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution and soliciting minors for prostitution. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison, where he was allowed to work six days a week/12 hours a day for 13 months.

When he was released from prison, he spent a year on house arrest, but was allowed to travel anywhere as long as he was back within 24 hours.

Why was Epstein convicted of?

Epstein was never tried, but he pleaded guilty in 2008 to solicit minors for prostitution in Florida. He was also a registered sex offender.

He died in New York in 2019 before he was tried for sex trafficking charges. He was found hanged in a solitary cell in a Manhattan prison, and inspectors decided he committed suicide.
