The Powerball Mayor’s Award rose to $234 million against the July 12 draw as the main prize was not won on July 9th.

If someone succeeds in Powerball on Saturday in addition to the five numbers, they can opt for a unique cash payment of $98.9 million.

So far, since 2025, there have been four winners of the Powerball Mayor’s Award. It’s the latest on May 31st, when a Californian won $204.5 million.

The first Powerball victory ticket for 2025 was sold in Oregon, where the lucky player won $328.5 million on January 18th. The second winner hit six figures on March 29th, taking $527 million. The third winner from Kentucky won $167.3 million on April 26th.

Winnings for Wednesday, July 9th were 5, 9, 25, 28 and 69. The Red Powerball was 5 and the power play was doubled.

No one has won the Powerball Mayor’s Award, but the Texans won the $2 million match 5 + Power Play Award, while eight from five different states won the $5 million match 5 awards.

  • From Florida
  • Illinois back
  • Massachusetts
  • From New England

The next draw will take place on Saturday, July 12th, just after 11pm.

Where can I buy tickets with the lottery?

Tickets can be purchased directly at gas stations, convenience stores and supermarkets. Lottery tickets are also available at some airports.
