Check out Starbucks’ first Barista Championship winners
Starbucks held its first Global Barista Championship in Las Vegas, featuring baristas from around the world.
Starbucks is releasing a new Frappuccino, and this is what you can expect.
On Tuesday, July 8th, Starbucks will be unveiling a Strato Frappuccino blend drink, according to a press release sent via email to USA Today. USA Today also had a drink sneak preview in May before it was released.
The new Frappuccino is available in three different flavors to choose from.
The Strato Frappuccino blend drink is layered with a creamy cold foam and a Frappuccino to create a layered look.
The Starbucks artist collaboration series will also return to Starbucks Cafe.
According to Starbucks, the collection will feature designs by Nigerian-American artist and printing and textile designer Shadé Akanbi. The press release did not include the release date for the new collection, which includes cold cups and ceramic tumblers.
USA Today has contacted Starbucks for more details.
Strato Frappuccino Flavor
According to Starbucks, Frappuccino comes in three different flavors.
Customers can order from:
- Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino Blend Beverage
- Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino Blend Beverage
- Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino Blend Beverage
New flaps come a few months after some cuts from the menu
The new drink comes after Starbucks announced in March that it would remove “not very popular” drinks from the menu.
The nine removed flaps include Espresso Frappuccino, Cafe Vanilla Frappuccino, Java Chip Frappuccino, White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino, Chai Cream Ribbon Cream Cream Frappuccino, Double Chocolatti Chip Cream Cream Cream Frappuccino.
The changes to create a simple menu were part of CEO Brian Nicole’s “Back to Starbucks” plan.
