Do you want to turbocharge your July 4th celebration with caffeine correction? You are lucky.
Federal holidays mean banks, post offices and stock markets will be closed, but some national retailers, grocery stores and restaurant chains are open, including their favorite caffeinated watering holes, such as Starbucks and Dunkin.
It’s a bit good news for us who actually “running in Dunkin'”: the coffee chain is open on Friday, July 4th. Times vary depending on the location, but most locations must be open.
July 4th will be dealing at Dunkin
Dunkin is not only open for the fourth time, but he also runs some patriotic promotions.
The coffee chain serves star spangle donuts filled with vanilla butter cream and star-shaped topped with blue icing and red, white and blue sprinkles.
Those looking for a more typical American flavour can opt for a braided apple pie, a handheld pastry filled with soft, baked apples. Snacks can be paired with frozen coffee inspired by newly released ice cream flavors, such as cookie dough, butter pecans and mint chocolate chips.
Those with a free Dunkin’Rewards membership can also win two deals. From July 1st to 15th, members can purchase a ham and Swiss croissant stuffing for $3 by purchasing a drink, and earn three times more points on bulk donuts and munchkin buckets from July 3rd to 5th.
