Prolific actor Michael Madsen, whose career was interrupted by his long-standing collaboration with Quentin Tarantino, passed away at the age of 67.

Madsen passed away on Thursday, July 3rd after cardiac arrest, manager Ron Smith confirmed to USA Today.

Madsen, who starred in Tarantino’s biggest films, including “The Reservoir Dog,” “Kill Bill: Vol. 2,” and “The Old Hollywood Era,” is known for playing a tough guy on screen and earning about 300 credits.

“For the past two years, Michael Madsen has done incredible films with independent films, including the upcoming feature film Revival Road and the Cookbook for Southern Housewives. I was really looking forward to the next chapter in his life.”

“Michael was also preparing to release a new book about Tears: Outlaw’s ideas and poems for my father being edited,” they added. “Michael Madsen is one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors and will be overlooked by many.”

Not confining himself to one aspect of art, he is also a published poet with several collections, writing several collections, including Burning in Paradise and Predicting the Rain. He also found comfort in both front and behind the camera and took photos as a secondary passion.

All of his works reflected harshness, studying the gaze of the world he was trying to capture.

His commitment to taking up the entire screen in a more phorically made his acting feel bigger than life. Madsen was probably best known for his roles in Tarantino’s classics, from Grizzly Mr. Blonde in “Reservoir Dog” to “Kill Bill: Vol 1” and its sequel Assassin Bad.
