Melania Trump statue stolen, stolen
The bronze statue of Melania Trump went missing in his home country in Slovenia five years after replacing the burned wooden statue.
The first lady gave us a gift.
Melania Trump visited a young hospital patient in Washington, DC on July 3 for a themed activity on July 4th, arriving with stuffed toys for children and plants for the hospital garden.
Trump brought fluffy teddy bears, children’s books and blankets for the children at the Children’s National Hospital and chatted about their favorite sports, food and hobbies.
The First Lady was joined by 10 children in the hospital garden room, where she created patriotic decorations from rocks and cups.
Trump brought the hybrid tea rose bushes called “Eternal Flame” as a gift from his 2017 dedicated Bunny Melon Healing Garden. The plants have yellow flowers, long stems and strong citrus scent.
The first lady walked around the garden and placed the decorations for July 4th in the flower bed. Some kids carried teddy bears around.
“I love seeing you guys,” Trump told the kids.
Trump has also personally visited heart and kidney patients and their families.
Former First Ladies Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan and Rosa Lin Carter are garden honor chairs.
Trump spoke to the kids about his July 4 plan at the White House, where the president holds military family picnics, suggesting that they can come next year when they are healthier.
It was a rare public look for a first lady. She attended a performance of “Reshi Micerables” at the Kennedy Center on June 11th with her husband.
