For the second time this month, Anker issued another product recall. This time, we’ll be talking about five power bank models that the company can pose a fire risk.

In an announcement posted by Anker, the company said that the recalled product should stop using “due to the risk of overheating, melting, smoke or fire.”

“The possibility of malfunctions is considered minimal, but due to a wealth of caution, we have decided to launch a voluntary global recall of several Anker Power Bank models,” the announcement states.

The recall of the five power bank models comes just a few weeks after recalling more than a million power banks on similar concerns. More than 1.1 million Anker Powercore 10000 A1263 Power Banks for sale in the United States have been affected by the recall, according to a warning from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, posted on June 12th.
