New York – The fate of Sean “Diddy” Combs soon becomes a ju judge at his famous sex crimes trial.
From government agents to ex-girlfriends to sex workers and hotel employees, more than 30 people rose to Manhattan for seven weeks to help build a case of prosecutors who allegedly led a “criminal corporation” that operated amid sex trafficking, inducement, drug crimes, forced labor and other crimes.
Comb faces charges of sex trafficking, assault and transport to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors are expected to suspend the lawsuit on June 24th, with discussions on the closing session expected to take place on June 26th and June 27th. The defense did not call the witness and took a break in less than 30 minutes.
The major moments from the trial included singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura Fine, an ex-girlfriend of Combs, who claimed that the music mogul had broken into his home about emotional testimony about his alleged abuse and the rapper’s child Cudi, who was once romantically involved with Ventura Fine.
Here is the biggest bombshell and revelation from the testimony of Combs’ trial.
Amazing testimony from Cathy Ventura of Didi Trial Motivated by “shame” and “guilt”
The “Me&U” singer testified on May 13-16, baring raw details of their complex relationship, including participation in alleged sexual performances of drug fuel labelled “freak-off,” physical and emotional abuse she said she had faced their relationship for years, and the violence she allegedly witnessed on combs.
Explaining why she decided to testify, Ventura Fein told the court, “I can’t carry this anymore. I can’t carry shame, guilt.”
Cathy and Diddy settle the 2023 lawsuit for $20 million
Towards the end of the second day of testimony, Ventura Fine delves into the year after its breakup from Combs in 2018.
She said she put a $30 million price tag on the rights to the book she wrote about her suspicious experiences on a project she characterized as an effort to help her understand what she had done. However, after being told he had failed to respond, she sued him in November 2023, claiming that he had raped, trafficked, sexually assaulted and physically abused.
The two announced that they would reach an agreement by the next day and that Ventura Fine would dismiss the lawsuit following an unspecified settlement. On May 14th, it was finally revealed that the settlement reached $20 million and was paid by combs and his company.
Cathy said Diddy was hospitalized in 2012 due to an overdose
On the third day of testimony, Ventura Fine together revealed the scope of her and Combs’ drug use. Combs was once hospitalized for “very strong” opium, she told her attorneys, revealing that the incident occurred around the time of Whitney Houston’s death in February 2012.
After “freak-off,” she said, Combs went to a party at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles while she was home. She said she took him to the hospital when he overdoses painkillers later that night. Through testimony from multiple witnesses, the comb suspected of ketamine, ecstasy and cocaine use.
Stylist Deonte Nash said he frequently hid Cassie from Diddy
Nash testified on May 28-29 that he frequently saw Combs’ violence against Ventura’s fines. He said Combs gave her black eyes. And the second incident brought two dark eyes. In another attack Ventura Fine previously described in her testimony, Combs’ violence ended with Ventura hitting her head into the bed frame. The bloody wounds brought stitching and gouache to her forehead.
Nash allegedly around 2013 or 2014, Combs threatened to be fired if he sent Ventura’s sexually explicit tapes to his parents’ workplace. Nash reportedly fined Ventura to hide in the hotel, and he told the court that Combs went to Nash’s house and was upside down looking for her, searching inside the oven.
Nash asks how many times did Ventura’s finest person help him hide from Combs.
Who is “Mia”? The former personal assistant explained Diddy Rape’s suspicions
“Mia,” who used the pseudonym, who worked on combs from 2009 to 2017, testified on May 29 that she sexually assaulted her on “multiple” occasions. While living with Combs at the Beverly Hills mansion from 2010 to 2014, she claimed she lived in a room that could not be locked. This was where Combs raped her as at one point she was sleeping on the bottom bed, and Mia told the court through sobs.
She said she felt she couldn’t say “no” to him anything. “I couldn’t say ‘no’ about the sandwich,” she said. She said he would “dismiss me and ruin my future. I knew his power and his control over me. I didn’t want to lose everything I worked so hard.”
Ex-girlfriend Jane has extensively detailed “Hotel Night” with escorts that could last for three days
“Jane” is a woman using a pseudonym that turns the comb on and off between 2021 and 2024, where she is pressured to take drugs, has non-stop sex with her escort, and is taken away from stopping her financial contributions for fear of her disapproval, and takes away her job.
She said “freak-off” can happen weekly or every other week for most of their relationship and can last up to three and a half days. In 2023, Jane said she texted Combs saying she felt “fed up with herself” after the overnight fun turned into an entire relationship. She wrote, “I don’t want to lose the roof above my head,” and “I feel obligated to carry out these nights with you.” At the time, Jane said Combs was paying $10,000 in rent.
Jane sobbed as she described the “hotel night” that happened when she celebrated her birthday in Miami in 2023. What appears to be a “me and his” night is that Jane agrees to have sex with three men in a row to please Combs.
“At this point, I feel like I’ve done a lot of these,” she testified. “I just know how to adjust it. I’ll turn this guy on and start.”
Diddy is still paying for Jane’s house
Jane testified that Combs paid $10,000 in rent a month as part of the “love contract” he proposed between them, and he also got her veneer. “Shaun said, let’s make a love deal,” she said. “He asked me how much allowance he would continue to want in the future.”
When Jane was asked who was paying rent now, there was a gasp in the overflow room and she replied, “Shawn (Combs).” Comb also pays Jane’s lawyer.
Diddy’s use of baby oil was known at his favorite hotel
Testimony from multiple witnesses mentioned that they reported to Combs the use of baby oil in a “freak-off.”
For example, on May 22nd, Frederic Zemmour, general manager of the L’ermitage Beverly Hills Luxury Hotel, walked to the ju apprenticeship through accommodation at Combs’ accommodation. Regarding one of Combs’ stays in 2015, hotel documents state that the rapper “always spilling candle wax on everything and using excess oil,” and that his room “does not break down when leaving for deep cleaning.”
The note also states, “Please allow an additional $1,000 when guests are with us to cover damage to the room.” A housekeeping memo was told to “monitor outside the room/down the hall and spray air cleanliness.”
Similarly, a damages report from the London Hotel said “the towels appear to be soaked in baby oil.”
Homeland Security Investigation Agent Andre Ramon also testified that he found 200 bottles of baby oil at Combs’ Los Angeles home, and ju umpires were shown photos from the attack on Combs’ Miami Beach Mansion.
Kathy’s mom said she wired Diddy $20k
Cathy Ventura Fine’s mother, Regina Ventura, testified that she wired a $20,000 comb while the rapper threatened to release a sex tape for her daughter.
Ventura says the money has returned to her after Combs pushed her to get her to wire her to his company.
“He spent money on her and was mad that she was with the others,” she said in the stands.
Regina Ventura also testified that she took a photo of Ventura Fine’s body bruises after being “beaten by Sean Combs” in 2011. She said she wanted to “memorialize” her injuries.
Kid Kudi claimed Didi had broken into his home.
Kid Kudi, who had previously dated Ventura Fine, stood up and testified that Ventura Fine told him that Comb “attacks her” and “I sometimes kick her.”
Cudi, given the name of Scott Mescudi, testified about the December 2011 incident in which Combs allegedly broke into his home after learning that Mescudi was romantically involved in Ventura Fine.
Mescudi explained that Combs received a call telling him it was inside his house. When he arrives, Mescudi says the gift he got for his family was opened and his dog was locked up in the toilet. Mescudi said he wanted to “facing” the Comb after the incident, but opposed it because he “didn’t know what his intentions were.”
Additionally, Cudi testified about the 2012 incident, where he testified that he discovered his car was “on fire” and Ventura Fine said Combs threatened to blow up Cudi’s car.
Security Officer said Diddy paid $100,000 for a copy of the Cassie Assault video
Eddy Garcia, a former security guard at the hotel where Combs attacked Ventura Fine in 2016, testified that Combs had paid $100,000 for a copy of the video.
Garcia says Combs told him that if the video left, “it could ruin him” and that he gave him money in a $10,000 stacked paper bag. He also said Combs advised not to make “big buys” with money. Garcia said he understands that Combs doesn’t want him to “take attention.”
