Trump challenges Gabbard’s statement on Iran’s nuclear program
President Donald Trump says National Intelligence Director Tarsi Gabbard is “wrong” about Iran’s nuclear program.
The State Department has begun evacuation of American citizens and permanent residents from Israel and the West Bank, announcing on social media that the Israeli-Iran war will enter two weeks.
“The State Department has begun to support flights departing from Israel,” Huckabee asked people seeking government assistance to fill out the form on June 21st.
Huckabee also posted actions that people could take to stay safe, such as learning where the nearest bomb shelter, avoiding large gatherings and monitoring local media.
The State Department did not immediately answer questions asking about the number of Americans expected to be retrieved from Israel.
The conflict began a week before Israel began launching airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear and military facilities, primarily Iran targeted uranium enrichment facilities to prevent the development of nuclear weapons. Both countries are engaged in air strikes while President Donald Trump contemplates the possible US involvement to help Israel destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Hundreds of Americans left Iran last week, according to the State Department’s Interior Cable, seen by Reuters.
Trump is expected to meet his national security team on the evening of June 21st and discusses the possibility that we may be involved in the conflict.
