To celebrate the first day of summer, Kroger is handing out over 90,000 pints of free ice cream.

On Friday, June 20th, the first day of the summer, the grocery store chain is offering 92,000 pints of Kroger branded ice cream for free. 1,000 pints for 92 days of the season. The campaign is part of Kroger’s summer promotion in its pint ice cream collection.

The grocery store chain began summer with its pint collection last year, offering 45,000 pints of free ice cream (50 pints per minute of 900 minutes of summer sunlight).
