Father’s Day is Sunday, June 15th, with restaurants across the country celebrating by offering same-day trading and discounts.
According to the US Census Bureau, there are an estimated 72 million fathers in the United States, of which 29 million are grandfathers as well.
According to History.com, the country’s first Father’s Day was celebrated in Washington on June 10, 1910. President Woodrow Wilson became a national holiday in 1914, but it was in 1972 that President Richard Nixon officially made Father’s Day on the third Sunday of June.

Hooters offers Bogo to Wings for Father’s Day and other deals for Hootclub Rewards members
On Sunday, June 15th, Hooters customers who purchase 10 wings will receive 10 boneless wings for free, the company told USA Today. Plus, from June 13th to 15th, HootClub Rewards members will be able to get one choice appetizer for just $5. Appetizer options include mozzarella cheese sticks, fried pickles, chips & queso, and buffalo shrimp, and other appetizers worth $5 per account.
Shake Shack serves bogo with burgers for Father’s Day
Currently, Shake Shack customers can get Bogo Double Shackburger using the promo code “DadMode” at ShakeSack.com (Shakeshack.com, or Shack Kiosks). The double shack burger, according to the chain, toasted potato bread comes in two bespoke quarter-pound Angus beef patty, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and shack sauce.
Get a Bogo Sandwich Trade at Wendy’s on Father’s Day
On Sunday, June 15th, Wendy customers will purchase Father’s Day, get one free premium sandwich and only take advantage of the offer through the Wendy app. Examples of premium sandwiches include Dave’s single, Baconator and classic spicy chicken sandwiches, according to Wendy’s.
Red Robin offers gift card deals for Father’s Day
Red Robin customers can purchase a $50 Red Robin gift card and receive a $10 Red Robin Bonus Buck Reward. Additionally, customers with the Sign Up or Red Robin Loyalty Program can get free appetizers when they sign up.
Krispy Kreme offers two new donuts for Father’s Day
Krispy Kreme presents Father’s Day on Saturday, June 14th and Sunday, June 15th.
- Bow Tie & Suspender Donut: Original glazed donut dipped in chocolate icing and served with green and blue vanilla flavored icing
- Plaid Donut: An original glazed donut soaked in blue vanilla flavored icing and drizzled with white and green vanilla flavored icing
Two of each of the new donuts are packed with three original glazes, three chocolate ice cream, and two chocolates stuffed with donuts for Father’s Day.
Buffalo Wild Wings offers deals in wings, fries for Father’s Day
On Father’s Day, Buffalo Wild Wings customers can get 20 traditional wings and fries for just $19.99 when ordering online or via the Buffalo Wild Wings app.
Apart from that, the chain has regained everything that can eat wing promotions from Monday to Thursday. Customers will get bottomless boneless wings for $19.99 and traditional wings or mix and match for $24.99. The deal allows for meals to be eaten in a limited amount of time, the company said.
Dunkin offers triple rewards for Father’s Day weekend
Dunkin’Rewards members will earn three times more points this weekend with half a dozen donuts and Munchkins orders. Customers can also enjoy the $3 Medium Dunkin Pink Splits Refresher.
Fogo de Chão offers future discounts for guests eating on Father’s Day
All fathers who dined at Fogo de Chao this Father’s Day will receive $25 from the experiences of two Chulascos redeemed on future visits, the company told USA Today.
Additionally, one of the lucky fathers is chosen to win a home tulasco grille made by the same manufacturer of Fogo’s “owned open frame tulasco grille.”
The restaurant’s brunch items will be served until 2pm on Father’s Day, the company said.
Scooter Coffee Offers Bogo’s Trade on Father’s Day
Scooter Coffee customers will redeem one purchase and get one drink offer on the Scooters Coffee mobile app on Sunday, June 15th. There is one offer limit per customer and you will have to redeem using the app.
Long John Silver offers Father’s Day deals to loyalty program members
