Democrats hammer Padilla’s episode humiliation
Hours after California Sen. Alex Padilla was forced to remove her from a press conference with Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem, House Democrats roamed the Capitol in search of an audience with GOP leadership.
Meanwhile, their Senate Democrats gave floor speeches after the floor speech, It condemns behavior as “power abuse” and “assault.”
- Republicans largely defended the actions taken by federal law enforcement representatives. Padilla was grabbed by security guards, transported, and thrust into the ground and handcuffed outside the room after a gnome press briefing Thursday in Los Angeles.
- “I can only imagine what they are doing for farm workers, chefs, and daytime workers.”: Padilla, who has not been arrested or detained, made a statement after the incident.
- Meanwhile, the new Court of Appeals’ decision is a means Trump will remain commanded in California’s National Guard for now.
šŖ§ “Numbers have skyrocketed”: A large crowd is expected nationwide on Saturday after Trump made the move to send the Marines and National Guard to Los Angeles.
Israel launches strike against Iran
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel expects “missile and drone attacks” in response to a move against Tehran, known as a “first attack.” According to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the IDF has struck Natanz’s Iranian uranium enrichment facility, hitting the “center” of the Islamic Republic’s program for nuclear weaponization and enrichment, as well as additional targets for the ballistic missile program. Netanyahu added that “Iran’s leading nuclear scientist” is also targeted, and that the IDF’s attack will continue for “the few days it needs to be.” US authorities emphasized that the US military is “not involved in the strike against Iran.”
