Shaq is thinking about Pacers-Thunder’s “Small Market” final

John Mellencamp was so worrisome that Pat McAfee did in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks that the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter went to social media to express his displeasure and apologized “on behalf of most Hoosiers.”
Mellencamp was at Gainbridge Field House on Tuesday, May 27th when the Pacers took a 3-1 series lead. McAfee used several exps while encouraging crowd booing of Hollywood stars Timothy Chalamett, Ben Stiller and Spikeley.
Mellencamp, 73, did not mention McAfee by name, but blamed him for his lack of “Hoosier hospitality.”
“I was embarrassed when someone called out some of the people who traveled from New York to support the team, in a direction I didn’t know about. “The audience booed these people. I don’t think it was Hoosie’s hospitality. It was just poor and I could only say that his sportsmanship was poor. I wasn’t proud to be Hoosie.”
McAfee confirmed Thursday that he is “someone” Mellencamp mentions. The former Indianapolis Colts punter, based at the daily sports talk show in Indianapolis, did not attend Game 5 at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night. The Knicks defeated the Pacers 111-94, along with Chalamett and Karamett and Kylie Jenner, Stiller, Lee, Tracy Morgan and Shaboosie among the celebrities in the New York crowd.
The Knicks and Pacers will meet again for Game 6, which they returned in Indianapolis on Saturday, May 31st. Indiana leads the Eastern Conference Finals.
