The Victoria’s Secret US website is down amid the ongoing security threats the company says it is working on.
According to the disclaimer, the lingerie store chain is taking the necessary steps to deal with ongoing security incidents.
“We have removed the website and some store services as precautions. Our team works round the clock to fully restore operations. We appreciate your patience during this process,” the message reads.
Online shopping is currently unavailable, but the company assured its customers that Victoria’s secret and pink stores across the country remain open, adding, “We look forward to serving you.”
“We quickly enacted response protocols. Third-party experts were involved and defeated the website and store services as a precaution,” a secret spokesman for Victoria said in a statement to USA Today.
According to Yahoo Finance, on May 28th, the decline was over 6.8%.
The Internet responds to cease Victoria’s secret website
The outage appears to have been happening for several days as Bloomberg reports it began on Monday, May 26th.
Many internet users quickly came to social media to comment on the suspension of Victoria’s secret website to make jokes or express their frustration.
“The Victoria’s Secret website has been down since last night, and as a result, I was unable to use the coupon that expired yesterday,” wrote one X user.
