President Donald Trump is escalating his fight against Harvard University.

Harvard is one of several universities targeted by the Trump administration and claims that the school hasn’t done enough to protect Jewish students. Harvard filed multiple lawsuits against an executive order that attempted to affect the school’s curriculum. On May 27, the New York Times and CNN reported that Trump is poised to cancel the remaining federal contract with Harvard, worth an estimated $100 million in total.

The fierce battle led to questions about Trump’s personal history with the university. Some wonder if Baron Trump, 19, the son of Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, was rejected by university.

“I can’t help but wonder how many Trumps have been rejected by Harvard,” Sen. Sheldon White House meditated on a social media post that has received more than 40,000 views.

Here’s what we know:

Has Baron Trump been rejected by Harvard University?

no. He did not apply, according to the First Ladies Office.

“Baron did not apply to Harvard and the allegation that everyone on his behalf is completely false is completely wrong,” said Nick Clemens, a spokesman for the First Lady’s office, in a statement that was emailed.

Harvard University did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

In the months leading up to the 2024 presidential election, the president’s youngest son attended a Florida rally, and at the time Donald Trump confirmed his plans to go to Baron Trump’s university.

“He’s now gone to college and got into all the colleges he wanted,” Donald Trump rallyed in Doral, Florida on July 9, 2024. “He makes his choice and he’s a very nice guy.”

Why is Trump fighting Harvard?

Trump threatened to withhold funds from several universities under all anti-Semitism flags if he fails to comply with federal orders. He argued that the system was not sufficient to fight anti-Semitism during its protests against the war in Gaza, which led to both anti-Semitism and Islamhophobia allegations.

Harvard rejects administration orders that include termination of all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, hiring external auditors, ensuring that universities host diverse ideological perspectives, renewing the admissions process and banning “hostile to American values and institutions engraved in the US Constitution and declaration of independence.”

Violating the order, billions of dollars are at stake in federal funds and Harvard’s tax-free status.

The Trump administration recently sought to ban schools from registering international students who have been blocked by federal judges.

Will Baron Trump go to college?

Baron Trump recently concluded his freshman year at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is expected to graduate in the class of 2028.

Where did President Donald Trump go to university?

President Trump graduated in May 1968 from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics.
