The Old Guard placed approximately 260,000 flags on the gravestones of service members and their families at Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day.
Memorial Day is almost here, with the unofficial start of summer.
The annual federal public holidays that recognize members of the military from the war always fall on the last Monday of May. This year, the anniversary will be observed on Monday, May 26th.
Aside from backyard barbecues, road trips, lake trips, and many other activities in many people’s work, some restaurants offer deals and specials to observe holidays. Unless noted, these transactions are available only on Mondays.
Below are some of the Memorial Day deals you can score this year.

Coffee from 8am to 26th: Customers can use Code Dibin at 10% off sitewide.
Carl’s Jr. : Carl Jr’s Build Your Own Bag (BYOB) served until July 8th comes with a side for $5.99, including a 4-piece chicken star, a choice of one Cali Classic or Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Natural Cut Fries or Onion Rings.
Marco’s Pizza: Customers can get Crowd Pleaser Combo using code Feed5 for $24.99, including two medium one-topping pizzas, CheezyBread and Cinnasquares.
Krispy Kreme: With the offer running everything on Memorial Day weekend, Krispy Kreme offers original glass-enclosed donuts for just $3.17 and is buying a dozen at the regular price.
Dunkin’: This store offers a medium refresh for just $3. Flavors include tropical guava, strawberry dragon fruit, mango pineapple, raspberry watermelon and lemonade or sparkling water. Dunkin’Rewards members will receive 100 bonus points if they place their orders earlier on Memorial Day.
Honey Dew: An offer available only to veterans, Honey Dew offers free small or medium regular coffee to all veterans on their anniversary.
Grimaldi: All active and retired military personnel will be able to view a valid military ID to receive a 15% discount on Monday, May 26th, but will also be available to receive it throughout the year at participating Grimaldi locations. Offers that are not eligible to be combined with other discounts or promotions.
Checkers & Rally’s: The Fast Food Chain offers a $4 special on Memorial Day. The deal includes a 12-ounce cheese double or spicy chicken sandwich, a side of the famous seasoned fries. Drinks and cinnamon apple pie.
Newk’s Eatery: A contract with the whole family, The Leathery offers two pizzas, one salad and a family meal deal for just $20. The offer is from May 23rd to Monday, May 26th.
Sullivan Steakhouse: Sullivan’s offers Happy Hour Bar bites ranging from $10 to $20 on Memorial Day, from 3pm to 6pm.
Twin Peaks: With offers available only on Memorial Day, Twin Peaks offers a “special discount” to all active military or veterans.
Logan’s Roadhouse: Multiple deals are offered, allowing Logan’s Rewards members to enjoy a 20% off party pack over Memorial Day weekend. Additionally, 10% military discounts are available year round for active and retired service members.
Krystal: The fast food chain, available only for one day, is available online and in-store, including $12 or $12 original crystals for $15 for $12 or $12 cheese crystal.
