2025 Store Closure: Joan and Jcpenney join Macy’s, Coles
JCPenney and Joann will be shuttering the stores this year. They joined Macy’s and Coles, who announced plans to close the store in recent months.
Bob’s Discount Furniture is set to open 20 new stores in 12 states this year.
The openings are part of the chain’s growth strategy, with six stores already open and can come through spring, summer and fall. The New England-based furniture chain said in a press release that it will expand for the first time to Vermont (one new location) and North Carolina (six new locations).
In a release on March 25th, Ramesh Mercy, Chief Operating Officer of Bob’s Discount Furniture, said: “Our mission is simple. We believe that everyone deserves the home they love. We will continue to look for opportunities in the Southeast and beyond to turn that belief into reality for our customers across the United States.”
