Some justice wonders why Trump administrators didn’t seek direct rulings on birthright citizenship
Judge Amy Coney Barrett and Elena Kagan asked Thursday why the Trump administration tried to block a nationwide injunction rather than settle whether the birthright citizenship order is constitutional.

On the third day of testimony, Kathy Ventura Fine revealed on Thursday the range of her and Sean’s “Diddy” Combs’ drug use that Combs had come together at one point when they were hospitalized for a “very strong” opiate. Ventura Fine said he tried to stop using drugs during the course of their relationship, but rehabilitation didn’t feel like an option for them. Drugs help her create a “numbing sensation” in “freak-off.” She is a sexual performance with combs and escorts that she said lasted for four days, which she described as “hell” on her body. Why are Starbucks workers protesting?
The union says more than 1,200 Starbucks employees have taken strikes to protest the new dress code policy that came into effect this week. According to Starbucks Workers United, walk-outs are being held at around 100 stores nationwide. The company’s union group claims that new policies are exacerbating the already widespread staffing crisis. The new dress code requires baristas to wear solid black tops as part of their efforts to maintain a “clearer color palette.” The company has pledged to provide staff with two free black t-shirts, but the union claims that many employees have not yet received it.
Women are declared brain dead. Georgia law forces her to get pregnant, the report says
Adriana Smith, 30, has been on a ventilator for more than 90 days. Smith began experiencing severe headaches in February, nearly nine weeks pregnant. She was seeking treatment at the hospital, but she was sent home with some medication and without further testing, Newkirk told the outlet. A CT scan later revealed that she had a blood clot and she was declared brain dead, Newkirk told 11Alive. Since then, she has been on life support as she is pregnant, and state law prohibits abortion once the fetal heartbeat can be detected in about six weeks.
