White Castle is commemorating National Slider Day with a free original slider on May 15th. The restaurant chain, known for its mini burgers, began a present celebration in 2015 and continues its tradition this year.
“The introduction of sliders in 1921 turned White Castle into famous and launched the fast food industry to know what it is today,” White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson said in a press release.
“I think burgers, which have so many influences in the food industry, are worthy of their own special day and a better way to celebrate than to thank customers with a free slider,” Richard continued.
How to get free sliders at White Castle
Foodies don’t need to buy anything to receive a free burger. White Castle customers can redeem offers using Code Slider Day in the app.
