Champions League Live Update: Inter Milan vs Barcelona

Date:

Inter's Denzeldan Fries scores the team's second goal in the first leg against Barcelona.

You don’t often get to enjoy six goals in one game. It’s even rarer to happen in the Champions League semi-finals.

However, Barcelona and Inter Milan delivered the best classics of all time in their first leg last Wednesday.

Inter scored two early goals through Marcus Thurlam and Denzel Danfire, silenced Barca. Both finishes deserved the biggest stage and set the standard for the rest of the night.

Braurana They fought back by the end of the first half, led by the precocious Raminyamal, and won a great solo effort to cut the deficit half. Ferran Torres drew the level of Barcelona before the interval.

After the break, Inter thought he had once again found the winner through Dumfries’ header, but that wasn’t enough as Barca equalised it in a dramatic way.

Before travel fans stopped celebrating their way forward, Rafinha’s incredible efforts hit the crossbar and then bounced back on goalkeeper Jan Sommer’s back and crossed the line.

However, the drama wasn’t over. Henrikh Mkhitaryan thought he had a 4-3 lead 15 minutes after the end of the fight, but the midfielder branched out and lost on offside. The semi-automatic offside system showed that Mkhitaryan’s toes were centimeters in the offside position, causing him to suffer from interfans.

Neutral fans are looking forward to the same in the second round, where they will be competing in this year’s final.
