WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump says he knew nothing about his artificially generated image that dressed the pope posted on his social account of truth over the weekend.

“I had nothing to do with it. Someone made a photo of me dressed like the Pope and they put it on the internet.

The image of the White House being reconstructed has attracted criticism from Catholics who still lament Pope Francis’ death. Trump attended a funeral last week along with other world leaders. The Pope’s Conclave for Selecting a New Pope is scheduled to begin on May 7th.

Speaking to reporters about the artificial image that appeared on his account on May 5th, Trump raised first lady Melania Trump and said, “I actually thought my wife was cute. She said, ‘Isn’t that good?’ ”

“In fact, I can’t get married,” he said. “As far as I know, the Pope is not a big deal about getting married. What about them? It’s not something we know.”

Trump also accused the media of spurring controversy after questioning Catholic frustration with images during a White House questioning and answering session.

“They can’t joke,” Trump told reporters, referring to the media. “The Catholics loved it.”

“Give me a break,” Trump said on whether it should be shared from the official White House account on social media.

Catholic Vice President JD Vance also framed the image as a joke.

The vice president swatted after Bill Christol, an anti-Trump Republican and Bluwork editor, tagged Vance in an X-post and asked, “Is this rudeness and ock ha ha?”

“As a general rule, I’m fine with jokes and it’s not good with people who started a stupid war that killed thousands of my fellow-people,” Vance told Christol, a defender of the Iraqi invasion.
