House Democrats have released 19 new images from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate depicting the alleged sex trafficker and several powerful figures, including President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton.
The photos were part of a cache of more than 95,000 photos received by the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, according to a Friday statement from the committee’s ranking member, Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.).
Congress has set a December 19 deadline for publication under the Epstein File Transparency Act. The bill was initially opposed but later signed by President Trump. Democrats are increasingly calling for the Justice Department to release all files related to Epstein’s criminal investigation.
“All we want is complete transparency,” said House Majority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.). “That’s what Epstein survivors deserve and demand.”
“Once again, House Democrats are selectively releasing hand-picked, randomly edited photos to create a false narrative,” White House Press Secretary Abigail Jackson said in a statement. “Democratic lies against President Trump have been debunked time and time again, and the Trump administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have.”

- Congressman Robert Garcia The House Oversight Committee’s top Democrat, D-Calif., spearheaded the disclosure, saying in a Dec. 12 press statement that “it’s time to end this cover-up by the White House and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends.”
- House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) publicly supported the push for transparency. At a news conference on December 12, he told reporters that House Democrats, led by Garcia, “will continue to make sure that we hold the administration accountable.”
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee issued a joint statement on X (formerly Twitter) on December 12th, which read in part: “These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein’s relationships with some of the most powerful people in the world. It’s time to end the White House cover-up. Release the files!”

Will more photos of Epstein be released?
Garcia told reporters on Dec. 12 that he expected the commission to release more photos in the coming days, ahead of a Dec. 19 deadline set by Congress.
“We’ve probably gone through about 25,000 of them so far,” he said. “We will continue to publish more photos in the coming days and weeks,” he said.
