Florida police arrested a Texas man on June 3 after police said they had jumped over the walls of Florida President Donald Trump’s Mar Lago Estate.
According to Palm Beach Daily News, part of the USA Today Network, 23-year-old Anthony Thomas Reyes, 23, was arrested early in the morning of June 3 and faces misdemeanor trespassing charges.
Reyes told police he had climbed the wall surrounding Mar Lago so that he could talk to Trump about the “gospel” and marry Kai Madison Trump, the president’s 18-year-old granddaughter.

Who is Kai Trump?
Kai Madison Trump is the oldest child of Donald Trump Jr., former model Vanessa Kay Trump and former Vanessa Kay Pergolitzi.
She is the oldest of President Donald Trump’s 10 grandchildren and the oldest of Donald Trump Jr.’s five children. On May 12, 2025, she celebrated her 18th birthday.
She is an avid golfer who has made her social media presence, particularly her YouTube and Instagram presence.
Mar-A-Lago Wall Jumper attempted to violate the property for the second time
Palm Beach police responded to Mar Arago on June 3rd shortly after midnight. A US Secret Service agent said Reyes was found at the 17-acre facility, and Reyes told the agent he jumped over the wall to get there, the arrest report said. Trump was in Washington, DC at the time.
Reyes told police he had climbed the wall surrounding Mar Lago so he could talk to Trump about the “gospel” and marry Kai Trump.
This is not the first time Reyes has visited Mar-A-Lago without an invitation. According to an arrest report, Palm Beach Police issued a warning to Rays against trespassing on the property on December 31, 2024.
When she appeared at Reyes’ first court on June 3, Palm Beach County Judge Dahlia Weiss ordered her not to contact President Trump, Kai Trump or her family, court records show. Weiss also ordered Rays not to contact Trump’s property or witnesses in the case, saying he could not have weapons or firearms, according to court records.
Reyes is represented by the Palm Beach County Public Defender’s office, which has not commented on the open case.

Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump are Kai’s parents.
Vanessa Trump is currently dating golf legend Tiger Woods, while Trump Jr. is dating socialite Bettina Anderson.

The exact terms and conditions for Kite Ramp’s deal with TaylorMade have not been revealed, but there is some information about her name, image and portrait rating. She also has another voluntary approval, along with the February golf equipment contract that pushed her rating to over $1 million.

Kai Trump made his political debut at the 2024 Republican National Convention, portraying the then presidential candidate as the average grandfather.
“To me, he’s a normal grandpa,” she said. “When our parents aren’t looking, he gives us candy and soda. He always wants to know how we do it in school.”
She said she will connect with the president over her love for golf.
“When we play golf together, if I’m not on his team, he tries to get into my head and he’s always surprised I won’t let him take me,” Kai said of her grandfather. “But I have to remind him, I’m Trump too.”
