Buc-ee’s, the large travel center known for its enthusiastic beaver mascot, is expanding into new markets this year.
As previously confirmed to USA TODAY, the first Buc-ee’s stores in Ohio and Arizona are scheduled to hold grand openings in April and June, respectively. Another store is scheduled to open in Buc-ee’s home state of Texas by July.
Although the ground has not been broken yet, Nebraska may soon be home to its first Buc-ee travel center. In late January, the city of Gretna, Nebraska, about 20 miles southwest of Omaha, initially approved the prospect of using the land for a 74-square-foot Buc-ee’s with 100 gas pumps, the Nebraska Examiner reported.
Buc-ee’s was contacted by USA TODAY on Feb. 3 and did not immediately respond to questions about its Nebraska location.
Here’s what you can expect from the popular travel center.
