Powerball jackpots are surged to $1.7 billion for Saturday’s painting
After 41 straight drawings without grand prize winners, the latest Powerball Jackpot has become the third largest in the history of the game.
As of Thursday, September 4th, it had an estimated $1.7 billion in cash value of $770 million. The award surpassed the 2016 $1.58 billion jackpot. This jumped as no one won on Wednesday, September 3rd with an estimated jackpot of $1.44 billion.
The next drawing is Saturday, September 6th, with the jackpot likely to rise before that.
