Diane Keaton talks about what’s important in life
In Interview Magazine’s 2021 feature, Keaton spoke to his friend, actress Carol Kane, about what’s important to him in life.
“I value very strong friendships, ones that we have trusted for a long time,” Diane told Cain. “I love walking with my dog. Those are my favorite things to do. And I really love nature. I love exploring California. I love driving up to Arizona. I really enjoy seeing. I think my favorite thing in life is the fact that I can see. It’s just incredible.”
In the same feature, singer Ariana Grande asked Keaton how he felt being “so (expletive) iconic.”
“It’s hard for me to deal with that,” Diane said in response to Grande’s question. “I don’t see it that way. I live with myself and I’m not a figurehead. I wake up in the morning and it’s me again. I’m just someone who says, ‘You better feed the dog.'”
