Have you heard of financial flexibility?

Many more members of Gen Z are doing this, often posting on social media about living in luxury high-rise buildings, eating at fancy restaurants, and flying to expensive destinations. But this pressure to disguise to fit in is having a negative impact on their finances, reports Rachel Hale.

A new national survey from Credit One Bank finds that more than half of Gen Z admit to lying or exaggerating about their financial success online.

Maui continues to move toward eliminating short-term rentals

In the future, it may become difficult to rent an AirBnb or VRBO on Maui.

The county council on Hawaii’s second-most-visited island has approved first reading of a bill that would phase out thousands of short-term vacation rentals in several apartment districts. If approved, the phase-out could take place by 2029-2030, reports Kathleen Wong.
