Three groupings to watch at the 2026 Masters
Deep South Connect’s Ryne Dennis breaks down the three groupings to get golf fans excited for the Masters at Augusta National.
It’s no surprise that Augusta National has a lot of money. But whose wallet is the fattest?
According to Forbes magazine, the highest-paid golfer in the world as of last year was 2023 Masters champion Jon Rahm, who will be playing in his 10th Masters this year. He earned $92 million on the track and $10 million off the track.
Meanwhile, the only golfer in the world to achieve billionaire status is five-time Masters winner Tiger Woods, who Forbes reports has a real-time net worth of $1.5 billion. He is also the No. 1 leader on the PGA career money list, meaning he has earned about $121 million the most over his career. However, due to a car accident and arrest for drunk driving, he will not compete this year.
Here are the top 10 career money leaders entering this year’s Masters.
