Are you losing your mind due to traffic jams? Well, driving a giant peanut might make your commute less painful.

According to a press release emailed to USA TODAY, Planters is looking to fill three positions over a one-year period from June 2026 to June 2027 to expand the company’s iconic NUTmobile across the United States.

Prospective candidates may apply for the position from December 16, 2025 to February 14, 2026.

“This job offers a salary, full benefits, generous meals and travel, and the opportunity to gain experiential marketing experience of a lifetime,” the press release states.

Those selected will become the new Peanut in 2026 and will be responsible for escorting Mr. Peanut across the United States while driving the 20-foot-long Nutmobile and organizing events, USA TODAY previously reported.

What is Natmobile?

USA TODAY previously reported that Natmobile is a “public relations company with spinning wheels.”

Not only is this a mobile public relations company, but the vehicle itself is basically a giant peanut on wheels.

How to apply:

According to the press release, those interested in filling this position must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field preferred.
  • desire to travel
  • valid driver’s license
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • “Being skilled at nut-related puns is a must.”

Those interested in applying have until February 14, 2026 to submit a resume, cover letter, and a short video explaining why they’re the perfect pea-nutter.

What to expect as a Peanutter

The Pienaters are required to work 40 hours, five days a week.

Some other responsibilities include:

  • He represents the Planters brand in media interviews and appearances on local radio, television and digital publications.
  • We entertain fans from all over the country with local events.
  • Engage with consumers to ensure everyone has a “good time” and a positive experience with NUTmobile and Mr. Peanut.
  • Volunteer activities for local communities

Other strangely shaped objects that humans can drive

Natmobile may sound strange, but it’s not the only food-shaped truck looking for drivers.

In early December, Oscar Mayer announced that it was recruiting drivers for Wienmobile. Like Peanutters, Hot Doggers also serve as brand ambassadors and must have good communication skills and preferably a bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing.

However, instead of loving nut puns, you need to be fluent in sausage slang.
