Brooklyn Peltz Beckham vents his family’s frustrations on Instagram
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has broken his silence on rumors of family feud with a scathing post on Instagram.
“Viva Forever” Spice Girls.
Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell Horner reunited on Saturday, January 24, to celebrate the 50th birthday of the group’s youngest member, Emma Bunton.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton. I love you girls so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx,” Beckham captioned a photo of the four women, not including the fifth member, Mel B. Kennedy.
“The most beautiful night celebrating over 30 years of our @emmaleebunton friendship. I love you all more than ever 💖,” Chisholm captioned the post.
January also marked Chisholm’s 52nd birthday.
The reunion comes just days after Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, infuriated his famous parents following months of tabloid speculation about a family feud.
In a lengthy statement posted on her Instagram Stories on January 19, Brooklyn said that she had taken a step back from her family because she had been “consistently disrespected,” saying, “My parents have been trying to break up our relationship ever since before our wedding, and it just won’t stop.”
The 26-year-old, who married actress Nicola Peltz Beckham in 2022, said she “doesn’t want to reconcile with my family” and is “standing up for myself for the first time in my life”.
Victoria and David Beckham have not directly addressed their son’s allegations, but David made a cryptic remark on CNBC’s Squawk Box about trying to educate his children about the pitfalls of using social media and pointing out that they are “making mistakes.”
Spice Girls reunion after years
“When you’re all together, it feels like you’re being punched in the stomach, because it’s a lot of force,” Bunton said on the Dec. 15 episode of the “Unlikely Friends” podcast. “When we get together, we’re like children.”
The group has recorded reunions over the years, including on Beckham’s 50th birthday in April 2024. As recorded by David Beckham, the five members treated the star-studded guest list to a performance of their hit song “Stop.”
The Spice Girls embarked on a reunion tour in 2019 without Victoria Beckham, which she explained at the time was due to scheduling conflicts. Mel B has hinted at future Spice Girls projects in recent years, but gave no details other than to say on the Today show in March 2024 that they would be announced “soon.”
