Vanessa Trump spoke out last week after her boyfriend Tiger Woods was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
The model and ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. shared a photo of herself and the professional golfer cuddling on a hammock on social media on Friday, April 3. “I love you,” she captioned the image she posted to her Instagram Story, adding several heart emojis.
Trump, 48, was married to President Donald Trump’s eldest son from 2005 to 2018, and she and Woods have been dating since 2025.
Woods, 50, was involved in a car accident on March 27 on Jupiter Island, Florida, where he has lived since 2007. The professional golfer was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, criminal damage to property, and refusing to submit to legal inspection by a local sheriff. He pleaded not guilty.
Officers observed Woods to be “lethargic and slow” and had difficulty following breathalyzer instructions, according to the arrest report. Woods gave all zeros on a breathalyzer test, but officers found two pills in Woods’ pocket that they identified as hydrocodone, an opioid used to treat severe chronic pain, according to the report.
President Trump took time to reflect on the arrest of his former daughter-in-law’s partner in a March 31 phone interview with the New York Post.
“As you know, he tested negative for alcohol. He is under a lot of physical pressure with various ailments, including his back and legs,” he told the show. “He’s lived a life of pain. He’s been in a lot of pain. He’s a great guy. He’s a great athlete. He’s certainly been in pain.”
